Top 5 Eats from EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival

Another WDW trip, another EPCOT festival. This was my first time EVER visiting the International Flower and Garden Festival and WOW color me impressed.

First off, Disney does a great job cultivating and creating all the different topiaries throughout the park. Second, the food offerings are amazing. Now since we only had one day and could only eat so much, here are my top 5, best of the fest picks.

Top 5 Eats from EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival

EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival l America

Pulled Pork Sandwich – The Smokehouse: Not gonna lie, BBQ is one of my favorite food genres, so when I heard the booth at the American Pavilion was gonna be all about that B-B-Q, I was sooo there. Now there are quite a few options but classic pulled pork was the winner here. Served sauceless (there are two different sauces to pick from), it was the perfect level of smokiness and tang which was made even better with the addition of the sweeter bbq sauce.

EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival l France

La vie en Rose – France: I feel like this drink has been topping my IG feed for the past few years now and now I know why. With it’s mix of vodkas, cranberry juices and elderflower liqueur, this slush is the perfect blend of sweet and sour with just a hint of floral. What was shocking was the elderflower didn’t overwhelm the other flavors. Once again, France is killing it with the boozy slushy.

EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival l Germany

Pretzel Bread – Germany: Okay this is literally just ham and cheese baked into some pretzel bread, but oh my laws is it good. I mean it’s so good I MIGHT have gone back for second helping later the day.

EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival l Citrus Blossom

Citrus Shortcake – The Citrus Blossom: Now out of ALL the dishes at The Citrus Blossom booth this shortcake was the surprise winner. It is super light and oddly refreshing. The chiffon cake was perfect and I will eat just about anything that comes with lemon curd.

EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival l America

Warm Chocolate Cake – The Smokehouse: Yup, I am taking us back to American Pavillon for maybe the best darn chocolate cake I’ve had in a while. I mean how can you go wrong with a mini warm chocolate cake COVERED in bourbon-salted caramel sauce and spiced pecans? You can’t! I mean this was so good, the local birds tried to get in the action. Yes, seriously a bird tried to steal my cake, however I was victorious!

There you have it, my official top five picks from the 2019 Flower & Garden Festival! Do you agree/disagree? Let us know what your favorites are in the comments below. In the meantime, I’ll be sitting here, dreaming of that chocolate cake!
